Deforestation is the removal of trees from an area of forest. People have been cutting down trees since we first appeared, changing the environment to suit our needs in order to provide things we need to live. In earlier times it gave us shelter, weapons and now it gives us paper, furniture and housing. Thousands of acres of forest have disappeared all over the world to fill our needs for wood and land, but they have to also meet the need for the plants and animals

Identifying the problem
Deforestation is the process of cutting down the trees in our rain forest. The wood is used for paper products and the lumber businesses. There are no signs of this process slowing down and if it doesn't we will loose all of are forest's. This problem is threatening animals and plants in a massive way. We only have ourselves to blame for this excessive problem.
